This was Blake a year ago at TIFF - the Toronto International Film Festival.
She wore crimson Chanel Couture because it was just around the time she had become BFFs with Karl. Her makeup and hair here are flawless. She’s just as beautiful in person.
I was in the crowd behind, lurking somewhere in the shadows of this picture…
Hope to see her again, as well as Leighton this year at TIFF.

Suzanne Rogers: Modern-day Marie Antoinette

Judging by the over-the-top, yet oh-so-beautiful dresses Suzanne Rogers wears to all the society events in Toronto, it was obvious that she would have a dream closet. The clothes are one thing, but the room itself is pure French, candy-coloured Sophia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette” decadence. It rivals the Rococo “Salon of the Princess”.

In summary, its my dream wardrobe. It seems as though we have similar taste. Her closet contains pieces from my favourite Spring 2011 collections: Jil Sander brights, Dolce and Gabbana lace, Mary Katrantzou trompe l’oeils…

How to describe her closet: a) feminine b) florals c) pink d) whimsical e) Chanel

* Be sure to keep in mind that everything featured in her closet is only from the past two seasons, mostly S/S 2011. The real winner here is her daughter, who will inherit one heck of a wardrobe. Click the link and see for yourself.

Alexa Chung, best dressed at the Chanel Cruise show in this cotton-candy cloud number. While most people would shy away from a dress like this, Alexa stood out from the rest of the Chanel girls because it was something different amongst all the other shorts and blazers. It may not look the best in a single photo, but the beauty of the billowy dress is when it’s in movement. I’m sure it was a fun dress to wear. Who hasn’t dreamed of swirling around in a cloud of pink Chanel?

I suppose I should just rename this blog “Confessions of a Chanel Addict” because I seem to dote on all things Chanel, all the time.
Here are a pair of shoes I wish I owned. They are everything a shoe should be. Timeless and practical (yes, practical - they’re black and could go with anything). They are whimsical with a light, filmy mesh with the cutest number fives. And they have bows. Two darling bows that make me swoon.
